Mr. Moss' experience in private equity and venture capital dates back to 1985 when he joined the venture capital group of BankAmerica/Security Pacific, one of the oldest and largest venture capital and buyout firms. Mr. Moss departed BankAmerica Venture Capital in 1994 as a Senior Vice President and became a founding Managing Partner of Kline Hawkes & Co., a Southern California venture capital firm investing $100 million in its first fund, which was initiated with a $45 Million Limited Partner investment from the California Public Employees Retirement System. Currently, Mr. Moss is a Senior Director with Mellon Ventures, a $1.4 billion private equity partnership with offices in Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and New York. Mellon invests across the private equity spectrum from venture-stage to growth financings to buyouts.
Mr. Moss has invested in twenty companies, managed a private equity portfolio exceeding 30 companies and has served as a director of eleven firms. In 1998, Mr. Moss founded Alexander Dunham Capital, a merchant bank advising high-growth companies on acquisitions, mergers and raising capital. Through Alexander Dunham he also was a founder of two companies.

Prior to entering venture capital, Mr. Moss was an executive with the Times Mirror Corporation from 1982 to 1985. Initially, Mr. Moss served as Assistant to the President of the cable television division where his focus included interactive services and new technologies. Subsequently, Mr. Moss became Director of Business Development for Times Mirror Videotex, the electronic information services group. During this time, Mr. Moss also chaired the Information Industry Association's Southern California chapter.

Mr. Moss earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College in 1974 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Yale University in 1980.
